Produced in conjunction with the Two Cylinder Club. Constructed with die-cast frame, body, LP gas engine, front axle, rear Hi-Crop axle housings and drop hubs. Configured with die-cast ROPS canopy and rear clamshell fenders. Detailed operators station features levers, grab bars, and foot pedals. Front axle oscillates, front wheels are steerable and posable. Rear 3-point hitch raises and lowers.

From 1964 to 1972 over 185,000 John Deere 4020 Tractors were produced. Out of this large number only roughly 787 Hi-Crop Tractors were ever produced.

Digging even deeper, of the 787 Hi-Crop Tractors, only 19 tractors were built with an LP-Gas engine. Ertl is producing one of the rarest John Deere 4020 Tractors ever produced. 

Our replica is of the early 1964-1968 Hi-Crop Tractors and features an optional 45-gallon LP-Gas tank, detailed LP-Gas engine, round muffler, pre-cleaner, clamshell fenders, ROPS with Canopy, rear 3-point hitch, and Cane & Rice Tires.
